Chocolate Cookie

This is the recipe for the chocolate cookie i made last week. It's almost like famous amos taste. It's crispy crunchy and all.. Here's the ingredients needed  for around 2-4 dozen of cookies.

    • 110g white sugar
    • 100g light brown sugar
    • 110g butter
    • 120ml vegetable oil (normal cooking oil are mostly veg oil)
    • 1/2 egg
    • 8ml of milk (arnd 2 teaspoons)
    • 250g all-purpose flour
    • 3g salt (1/2 teaspoon salt)
    •  1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
    • 3 ml vanilla extract
    • 170 g semisweet chocolate chips ( i use silver bird cause it doesn;t melt too much and it's not that sweet)
    • 30 g chopped walnuts (optional ! For people who do not like nuts can just dont care about it!)

First prepare a mixer or a whisk (if you have the strength and time to waste). Put everything in except dry ingredients and mix it until it becomes fluffy.

After the mixture turns fluffy add dry ingredients( nuts and chocolate chips) in and then stir it well so that every part has chocolate chip in it.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Then cover the baking tray with baking paper (so that the cookies would come off easily after baking). Use a spoon to scoop out the size of cookie you want and place it on the tray. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8-12 minutes. Cookies may be a little soft when taken out , but it's alright leave it to cool and it will become harder. If it's really too soft add more flour into your mixture . :)

Kids can also shape the cookies into variety of shapes but be careful when you take it out or else it will end up like my man-shaped cookie...broken ! :(

For any questions just comment below. All the best if you are going to have a try on making cookies:)
